My Apple Gourd has started to grow up my pallet trellis!
I love to see them attach to the trellis, nature is so cool!
My plan with the apple gourds is to make birdhouses like this one found at
Song Bird Garden:
Last time I said I was going to be harvesting bulbils from my Tiger Lily. A bulbil is a clone of the plant like a division or a cutting, and will grow true to the plant.
The little round black things are the bulbil. I have harvested quite a few, put them in a ziplock bag and put them in fridge for a cooling off period. In a month, I will take them out and plant them in trays in my basement. I'm looking forward to having more tiger lilies!
